A wonderful stay as always in Glenfruin Lodge thanks to Craig & Alison. We went to the People’s Palace in Glasgow this year which is well worth the visit. Also fitted in 3 Highland Games again which are worth seeing and help give something back to the community.
Will be back next year, Sue & Roddy, Maidstone, Kent

We wanted a week away to relax and switch off and Glenfruin Lodge is perfect for that. Lovely accommodation in a great location to explore this amazing part of Scotland. Slept so well! I want 2 new mattresses and pillows when I get home!
Can recommend dinner at Fruin Farm – and you can walk there…
With thanks to Alison, Craig and Maisie x

Have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glenfuin Lodge. The lodge is very well equipped, perfect location and a warm and friendly welcome from Alison & Craig made for a perfect stay.
Enjoyed some great walks – Ben A’an, Ardmore Peninsula, Conic Hill and Stronachlachar and Loch Arklet. Had a day trip to Glasgow, visited The Tenement and Kelvingrove Museum & Art Gallery. Here in Helensburgh we spent a morning at Hill House (a National Trust property) designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh – really enjoyed seeing the design and architecture of this period. Took a road trip up Loch Lomond – fantastic. Would recommend La Barca in Helensburgh – really tasty Spanish Tapas. A great holiday, further enhanced by fantastic weather.

Had an enjoyable week at Crosskeys Cottage. Weather not bad for Scotland, although we leave in rain.
Cottage is extremely comfortable, couldn’t think of anything it didn’t have. Bye Bye Alison & Craig.

Had a lovely time, seen so much and been to so many places all have been good. Glenfruin Lodge has been great, everything we need and great bath.
Craig & Alison have been lovely, even the visits from Maisie the cat, they work so hard to make the place nice for us – thanks. We hope to return.

Smashing time, many thanks.

ps Don’t miss a visit to Inchcalloch island, ferry is £5.00 return from Balmaha. Also views of Loch Lomond from the ‘Dumpling’ in Gartocharn are even better than Conic Hill and a much easier walk!
