What our guests say

22nd - 26th February 2017

Thank you for a lovely stay.  We have thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Loch Lomond with our little girl Isla.  Made even more special by the fact she saw snow for the first time.

The Lodge was so family friendly and Isla who has not long started walking, loved pottering about and playing in the lovely bath.

We would recommend Cameron House for lunch (for a special treat).  It was expensive but well worth it.  We also had a lovely drink in the Loch Lomond Arms in Luss next to the cosy log burning fire.  We have had lots of lovely walks taking in the beauty of Loch Lomond, in particular the Argyll Forest.

We will definitely be back.

Thank you,

Clare, Ian & Isla (Liverpool)

What a beautiful, well maintained clean cottage (Crosskeys Cottage).  Location is excellent.

Thanks so much for a ‘New Year’ we will remember forever.

Our third Xmas at Crosskeys.

Thanks Alison & Craig for a great stay.  As always everything is to a high standard.

Even the constant rain did not dampen our spirits!

Looking forward to our return.

Many thanks, Jim & Frances Kelly, Barney & Echo (the dogs)

A wonderful stay at Crosskeys Cottage.  Cosy & warm, a great home away from home from which we could base our adventures.

Day 1 – A climb up Ben Lomond was worth the beautiful views, with the added bonus of snow, it was truly magical.

Day 2 – We didn’t see the ‘fairies’ at Doon Hill but a lovely walk nethertheless, we believe they watched us on route.  Followed by a stunning view of the Bracklin falls in Callander.

Day 3 – A walk round the beautiful town of Luss, shorter easier walks but great views of the Loch from Beinn Dubh, and around the woodland.  Great dog friendly eateries at the ‘Village visit’ in Luss and the evening at the Drovers Inn for fun & live music.

We can’t wait to come again to explore more around Loch Lomond.  Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Had a lovely stay here.  Perfect location to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Fruin Farm (just opposite) is great for breakfast &/or dinner.

Thank you for a cosy stay in the Crosskeys Cottage.  We loved coming back and getting cosy in front of the log burner.

Whilst we were here, we visited Balloch, Luss, which were very nice places to visit and see Loch Lomond.  We also visited the Isle of Mull on a ferry from Oban and visited Tobermory (Highly recommended).

Thank you again for our stay and we will be back in the future.

A lovely long weekend in a wonderful cottage (Glenfruin Lodge).  Great location and very cosy on rainy autumn nights.

Our 5 year old daughter especially loved the visit from ‘Maisie’ the cat and the ‘fairy stream’ at the bottom of the garden.

Thank you again for a great stay (Crosskeys Cottage).  But this time it was Tiger’s first holiday away and he loved it, very sore feet….
