Had a nice stay in the cottage, beautify area, plenty to see.  Not the best of weather, but we enjoyed it.

Thanks for all your help.

A lovely week, some sunshine, some rain – but we did something every day.  Met up with friends and family, enjoyed meals at the Boat House (Loch Lomond) and Riverhill (Helensburgh) lovely drive to Inverary and the castle is well worth a visit.  Geilston Gardens (Cardross) are lovely and no-one there!

A very happy holiday and above all a warm, cosy welcome!

Perfect location for us ‘oldies’ to see and enjoy the sights.  We’d love to come back – and I hope next time I can get a gorgeous lady to join me in the whirlpool bath! (Betty’s knees were not up to it)….

P.S. They do say you should grow old disgracefully!

Fantastic holiday, thank you!

Love the accommodation and we picked the perfect week for the weather.

Birthday meal at Duck Bay was excellent.  The Wee Kelpie at Helensburgh has the best fish & chips ever!  Isle of Arran is also well worth a ferry trip.

Definitely be back… thanks again.

What a charming cottage, everything you could need.

Arrived to a storm on Saturday, but by Monday couldn’t wish for better weather for touring round Loch Lomond.

Will definitely be back.

We only had a few days here but what a cosy cottage and so well placed for touring around the area.  Unfortunately the weather wasn’t really on our side but we had a lovely day on Sunday when we took a drive through Glen Fruin, up to Arrochar and then over to Loch Fyne and down Loch Eck.  A wonderful walk through Pucks Glen and a nice meal on the way home at the lovely Whistlefiled Inn – very reasonably priced too!

Thank you Craig and Alison for a lovely stay, just a shame it was too short.

The accommodation in the Lodge is light and spacious – also well equipped.  Unfortunately we did not have particularly good weather for our weeks break.  We would certainly recommend this as a place to stay especially in view of inclement weather.

Everything we needed was easily acquired from Helensburgh.  We visited local sites – Loch Lomond, Loch Fyne, Loch Katrine and surrounding villages.

Would love to come again – but hopefully with better weather – views would be enhanced considerably.

Many thanks,

The Lodge is beautiful, well equipped and cosy – the whirlpool bath is great!

Although weather wasn’t on our side, we made the most of the week.  Inverary castle is a great trip, especially the gardens.  Half way through the week we climbed Ben Nevis, it was very cloudy on top so we couldn’t see anything but snow, but we feel proud to have reached the summit!

The ‘Village Rest’ in Luss is well worth a visit for dinner.  Great service and food.

If you go to Glen Coe, make sure you take a path to get away from the road, as it is magnificent.

Many thanks,

We have had an amazing time at Crosskeys.  The Cottage is very cosy and comfortable and very well equipped.

It has been the perfect base for exploring this beautiful place.

We had a truly awesome road trip to Inverness on Tuesday, taking in the breath taking scenery of Glen Coe, Loch Ness and the many other sights the drive provided.

Afternoon tea at the Winnock Hotel in Drymen was delicious, followed by a drive to Balmaha.  We found The Riverside Museum and the Tall Ship in Glasgow a real fascinating experience, also The People’s Palace, Glasgow Cathedral and surrounding architecture, well worth a visit.

Thanks for a perfect holiday,

Christine and Mark.

Have had a lovely time at your Lodge which is wonderful.

Enjoyed the evening sunshine out the French doors and a few visits from Shadow, also the bird song & Robin.

Have been not too far from the area but loved what we have seen apart from the Antartex Village which is a waste of time!

Lovely lunch at the Duck Bay and beautiful surroundings.  The sea life centre was very good.

Hope to return sometime….

Peace & blessings, Lorna & Phyllis, Carnoustie
