Our 3rd stay at Crosskeys and again a lovely visit.
The Hill House was open this time and well worth a visit as is the ‘Tower’ if you have an evening to spare to go to the cinema
Lots of opportunity to cycle and walk – we found the other end of Glenfruin this time !!
Thank you again for your kindness

Had a lovely stay in this marvellous cottage (Crosskeys Cottage ) which is well situated, with easy access to local shops and
amenities. Stunning views around not only Loch Lomond but the many places we visited during our week here.
Would recommend to anyone.

We also have had a lovely time in this beautiful cottage (Glenfruin Lodge) and we have slept like ‘logs’ in the huge comfy bed. As we are not walkers we found that there was still plenty to do. A drive up to Tyndrum to the Green Wellie was spectacular but beware, the RAF practice their low flying up there as we found out when a Hercules Carrier buzzed our heads only a couple of hundred feet above us, but to watch them go by was amazing.
As for eating out we found that the Queen of the Loch does a nice carvery and also theme nights. Glenfruin Farm across the road does a really nice breakfast, a little dear but well worth the money.
Loch Lomond (the shores) is a nice place to shop – House of Fraser, Regatta etc.. Henry Bell (Wetherspoons pub) in Helensburgh is also ok to eat (cheap & cheerful). Also got train into Glasgow, 2 return tickets for £14 from Helensburgh Central.
We sincerely hope to return.

Hi guys, just a short note to say how much Helen, Amy, Reece and myself enjoyed our stay in Crosskeys Cottage. The location is magical and the 3 days we stayed helped recharge our batteries. It’s just a pity you could not bottle it!
We had lots of fun exploring the area with visits to Helensburgh and Lomond Shores.
Oh well, time to go back to reality…
Thank you, Matt, Helen, Amy, Reece and Aihor the dog!

What a wonderful week in a beautiful cottage (Glenfruin Lodge) and stunning surroundings. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the log burner of an evening and the whirlpool bath was a real treat too!
William and Maria had a fabulous time in the snow, building snowmen and sledging – a week of perfect weather and a brilliant base from which to explore this wonderful area! Our favourite spots from the week include; sledging in Glencoe, walking the history trail on Ben Lomond, visiting Stirling Castle, finding waterfalls at Falloch and Queen Elizabeth Forest Park too – so many amazing experiences for us and our children.
Thank you once again and we look forward to another visit again soon!

Our first visit to Scotland, travelling from Kent to see our son who has moved to Saltcoats. We had one beautiful sunny day visiting all around Loch Lomond, saw some waterfalls. We spent a day in Saltcoats – wet and cold, but we imagine the beach to be lovely in the summer. A lovely cosy cottage (Crosskeys Cottage), everything you need.
Would definitely visit again.

Thank you very much for another great time in Loch Lomond – Crosskeys cottage is a super place: warm, comfortable, cosy and with the snow plough on the doorstep – snow is not a problem and from the cottage there is just such a fantastic lot of options.
We will be back again and maybe see Inverary in sunshine! We also still have a bit more of the east shore of Loch Lomond to walk!
Many thanks again for all your kindness.
