What our guests say

31st May - 3rd June 2016

Glenfruin Lodge has been ideal for a short break.  We’ve enjoyed some glorious weather, enjoyed Loch Lomond and headed up to Glencoe.

The Lodge has given us a comfortable place to return to and chill out.  Have enjoyed watching the bats flying about at dusk and just being present in the moment…

We have very much enjoyed the peaceful tranquillity of Glenfruin Lodge.  We know the area quite well as our daughter has lived in the area for four years.  It has been lovely to stay here while she and her family are having house renovations.

The Lodge is all we could ask for, spacious with airy ceilings, but beautifully cosy with under floor heating.  Our granddaughters particularly loved the spa bath!

Enjoyed stay in this cosy nook (Crosskeys Cottage).  Warm, homely and all amenities needed.  Weather – dry all week and sunny most days.  What!! – no rain? Yes, no rain!!

We have had a wonderful stay.  Weather fantastic!

Lodge is gorgeous – bathroom is to die for.  Did not need to ask for anything.  Home from home.

We will be back.

We’ve had a lovely week here at Glen Fruin – Lodge perfect, log burning stove – Fabulous, views lovely also.  Will definitely recommend to family & friends.

Had a wonderful stay in this cosy, comfortable (Crosskeys) cottage.  A perfect base to access all around Loch Lomond.  We enjoyed visiting/walking in lots of new places – Balloch Country park, Luss, Glen Branter, Doon Hill Fairy Walk in Aberfoyle, the Waterfall at Bracklinn Falls and Glen Fruin.  If walking in Glen Branter we would recommend following the ‘yellow route’ to see the waterfalls.  Our dog ‘Flo’ (Beagle/Jack cross) had a great time exploring!

There is so much we haven’t managed to do that we would love to come back and would definitely keep this cottage in mind.

Thank you!

Dear Craig & Alison,

Thank you for a wonderful stay!  My sailor came home after a long period at sea, and Crosskeys Cottage gave him the perfect place to unwind and re-charge.  Absolutely perfect.  Can’t thank you enough.
