What our guests say

Great holiday in Loch Lomond in this lovely, cosy cottage (Crosskeys Cottage).  We’ve visited Inverary Castle, Loch Fyne (& restaurant), Stirling, Luss, Conic Hill, Glasgow and would recommend them all.  Helensburgh is a lovely town and we particularly enjoyed the Sugar Boat (restaurant) and the Tower Cinema.

Despite the cold, an ice cream from the local farm shop is well worth it…

Thanks for a great holiday,

Just had a fantastic week here at Glenfruin Lodge.  The cottage was perfect and a real bonus with the whirlpool bath.

Great location for getting out and about the area.  Hope to be back soon.

Lovely cottage (Crosskeys cottage), great views – shame there wasn’t more sun.  However, we did get out to Stirling, Oban and especially the lovely park in Balloch. Plenty of walks suitable for dogs & people alike.

Many thanks, Pam & Ray Green and ‘Bella’

Had a lovely time.  Cottage was great (Crosskeys Cottage), scenery superb and weather good.  Luss and Loch Lomond and surrounding hills lovely.

Thank you.

How lucky we were to have chosen Glenfruin Lodge!  It was our first visit to Scotland but certainly not the last.

Enjoyed very much walking right behind the house in the direction of Garelochead – although we took a turn to the left and ended up at the Marina in Rhu (nice little Café!).  The Glen Loin Loop starting at Arrochar was great, the view from Benn Dubh (from Luss) worth all the tears I cried while climbing up it.. and Loch Katrine’s shore way for a bicycle ride was fantastic.

Thanks to Alison & Craig for this lovely cottage.  We’ll certainly be back one day.

Thank you for a lovely stay in this cosy cottage (Glenfruin Lodge).  It was a great starting point for countless adventures.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Maisie (the cat).

Many thanks for the use of this wonderful Cottage (Crosskeys cottage) for the 2 weeks, everything that you need for a home from home, couldn’t be better.

Would like the chance to stay again in the future, hoping for better weather.

Had a lovely week.  Very comfortable cottage (Glenfruin Lodge).  Great location to visit Inverary and Oban.  Food at the Village Rest in Luss is excellent.

We had a lovely week here in a perfect arrayed little cottage.  We enjoyed the scenery around and above (from Ben Lomond).

There was even a day with sun 🙂  We finished our stay with a perfect dinner at Fruin Farm just across the road.

We had a lovely family holiday here.  The lodge is in a good central location for visiting all the nearby lochs.

There was a bit of a misunderstanding with the website and therefore we did not bring a high chair, however the owner very kindly went and bought one the following day for us.  The bed is very comfortable (hotel quality) and was very well equipped, it was a shame we didn’t get to sit in the garden because of the weather.

Lots of nice picnic locations nearby, I recommend Balmaha.
